• ※ Materials from the Local History Museum - Akita Closed Stacks (Kindaichi Haruhiko Memorial Library Collection) are available for lending and viewing at libraries within Hokuto City.
• Please note that they cannot be viewed at the Local History Museum itself.
• 　If you wish to borrow or view these materials, please make your request at one of the libraries in Hokuto City. Depending on the material, lending may not be possible.
• ※ Due to copyright restrictions, some DVDs (such as those by Toho, Shochiku, and NHK) cannot be lent out from libraries other than the holding library. Thank you for your understanding.
• ※ The latest issue of a magazine cannot be borrowed until the next issue has been received. Please be aware of this.
• 　To reserve the latest issue of a magazine, please inquire at the counter.
• To make reservations through the website, you must first register as a user at the library and also register your password and email address.
• With the online reservation service, you may reserve up to 7 items per person, of which up to 3 may be audiovisual (AV) materials.
• You cannot place a reservation on items that you are currently borrowing.
